Fett263 ProffieOS6 Style Library

I’ve just uploaded another batch of New Blade Builder Interactive Options and Style Choices for the OS6 Library.
There’s simply too much to list but here’s a quick sample, be sure you’re looking through all of the options and effect dropdowns as you navigate the library you never know what you’ll find.

  • Interactive Swing Corruption - Build up the style 2 to overtake with each swing in increasing levels based on inertia, once you’ve stopped moving the blade it will slowly dissipate and return to Style 1. (stop swinging for approx 5 seconds or clash to dissipate).
  • Interactive Idle Blade Corruption - Whenever your blade is idle it will be overtaken by Style 2, swinging the blade will rid it of the corruption.
  • Interactive Impact & Blast Instability - Each Blast, Clash or Lockup with apply Style 2 (Instability) in increasing levels based on strength of the clash, allowing time to pass between blasts and clashes allows the blade to re-stabilize. (approx 5 seconds)
  • Interactive Options with Force Toggle - use the Force Effect to enable/disable the various Interactive Controls to give you even more control over your styles.
New Rotoscope, Power Wave and Power Ripple style options - I’ve added several new generic Rotoscope options as well as Power Waves and Power Ripples to give you even more choices when building your styles and presets.
    Enjoy!

Did KyberSelect get disabled on the Unstable and Fallen Order style builders?
I wanted to see if I missed something where upon ForceEffect I can have the main blade color mirror the changes on which color was selected. *I hit character limit so see the PasteBin.

Nope, it’s available on both.

I think I’ve found an error in the Library for the “Running Rainbow” crystal chamber code. Even in the preview, it shows the colors not cycling as it should. It just remains on whatever base color is chosen. Tested on my saber & it does the same. Took the main blade code & put in on main & CC. Works as I wanted. Here’s the CC code from the Library:

You selected “Custom” in Crystal ON behavior, choose “Match Blade Style”.
Crystal Chamber and Accent LED gives you the ability to either choose custom behavior or match the selected style.

I see. Didn’t notice that option. Don’t remember selecting it. Is that not the default setting?

Looks like it’s defaulted to it currently.

Playing around with the new, I’m calling it “BYOB” (Build your own bladestyle), I was wondering if there is an interactive lockup instability for battle mode? If I’m in battle mode, and I’m in lockup with someone, the blade should transition to the second style, like it does with interactive clash instability. Maybe it’s already an option and I missed it? Dune Intensity Lockup is basically the look, but using the Blade Builder menus to pick the two blade styles and also making it work with Battle Mode.

It’s not in the library currently but totally doable.

Should the post off emitter cool down (white hot to orange to red) work in the editor live preview? Or does that only work on the saber when pstoff.wav is present?

It looks like EFFECT_POSTOFF doesn’t run in preview, I’ll have a closer look when I get a chance.

This should be fixed, you’ll need to refresh your page to get update. There is now a field to set the pstoff.wav length (or it defaults to 2000 ms). The library doesn’t currently support pstoff.wav sounds I’ll look at it for a future update but not sure when I can work on it as I have a lot else to finish so you’ll just set the ms in the field under the previewer to view. The post off effects auto-time to the wav on your actual saber.

Maybe I’m overlooking something, but I’m getting strange effects from the following style. The preon options after option 1 aren’t showing anything, and if any of those are selected, the ignition it just a wipe/fade

Where? On the saber or previewer?
Do you have preon.wav in the font?
How are you changing the options?

On the saber. I didn’t try the previewer. I do have a preon.wav. Option 0 disabled and option 1 is faulty Ignition. That one works. The other options don’t do anything. I’m using Edit Mode on the saber

Try paring down the style, do you really plan to use it 373248 different ways?
There is a threshold of diminished returns when you build these massive optioned styles, so try the effects in question in a simpler style and choose options you plan to use.

You could always wipe that preset and start over in ProffieOS Workbench. I’ve had success with some “finicky” presets in Edit Mode that way.

Something I wondered might be worth adding to the copyright notes when you copy/paste a bladestyle: The date it was made. I’ve started adding that to mine, so I can keep track of which are up-to-date or not, but it could be handy for everyone?

Shouldn’t be too hard, I’ll take a look in a future update.

hey Fett263 I was playing around on the library and when I select the Battery Meter the power doesn’t work.

so it’s difficult to see the battery meter using the tool. this was reproducable regardless of the option it was on and also reproducable on both types of the Battery Meter.
