Ive been having issues with the font converter. When i click to download the converted font its hit or miss if it will download to my computer. Is there a preferred browser to use for this? Ive tried both chrome and edge and it doesnt make much difference.
Are you clicking the download button that appears at the bottom of the page?
I developed and tested primarily with Chrome, but works on other browsers as well.
Logs donāt show any issues.
Were you converting Cantina to XENO3?
Yes im clicking download at the bottom of the page.
Its worked with several of the files ive attempted, but alot of times it just never downloads.

Yes the cantina font, and the deadpool font. They wouldnāt ever download.
Just tried 2 other fonts and same result.
Anhgraflex & witchking.
However the rave font i tried worked.
Hmm. I see WitchKing and ANHGraflex convert but then

I am not having any issues, even using the same font.

Just tried again with the cantina font. Still no luck. I clicked download amd waited for the 3 mins and it times out and says "Download expired. Please start new conversion "
Have you tried fully refreshing the page like shift-ctrl-5 ?
Ive tried refreshing. Ive even rebooted my computer.
Strange. Most strange that some fonts work and some donāt. I mean thereās no difference. Connection reset by Peer would indicate itās on your end. Iām not sure what to try next
Okay so i tried on my home computer and its working. It mustāve been something up with the pc at work. Not sure why but oh well. Sorry for bothering you

Could it be a connection timeout or something?
Like if the server takes N seconds to do the processing, but there is a proxy or firewall in between that disconnect if no answer shows up within N-1 seconds?
Unsure. Itās weird that some fonts worked but others didnāt. I donāt think thereās any great difference in time to process. If it were a multiple font conversion, the time would be longer for sure.
I just assume itās something security related to the download process that the company infrastructure didnāt like.
The log confirming the file format is excellent. And I followed the proffie to proffie hack for cleaning up sound files and trying them out as font components and it made life much easier.
(did anyone go to Disney in the magic band v1 days and hear a cast member say āMickey to Mickeyā for tap instructions?)

Guests wouldnt get their wrists close enough to the sensor for park entry. Both the wrist band and the sensor had a classic Mickey three ring shape. So if you make them touch, which is required, you get an original magic band Mickey to Mickey. Saying it to guests was brilliant as it was very efficient and was a great multi- generational joke, IMO.
