the website keeps saying error

I know sorry. Iā€™m revamping a lot and will have it up ASAP. For now, thereā€™s a reset on the current version hourly

Q: Is there an offline version I can download and use?

Iā€™ve been refreshing the page every hour for 12 hours, it still hasnā€™t come back up. :-/

I was in the middle of running the proffie optimizer on 48 fonts, and then the converter on 77 fonts to convert from Xenopixel to Proffie.

I got as far as 9 fonts this morning before it started just loading the application error screen.

Iā€™ve been refactoring the code for 2 weeks straight. Finally have version 4 mostly ready. Hopefully it plays nicer on Heroku.
The analytics are a mess n the current version with a ton of timeouts and java heap out of memory errors.
It resets hourly, so it really shouldā€™nt be an issue. Although, if users are hammering it, that could be it.
Almost there. hopefully pushing update tonight.

Ah ok.

I noticed it was up, got another 3 ā€œoptimized for proffieā€ before it went down again. Maybe iā€™m going too fast?

Itā€™d still be good to have an offline downloadable script or app, you know, for 30+ years from now when I want to go tinker with ancient sabersā€¦

I see 3.1 just appeared.

the download button is partially cutoff and thereā€™s no scroll down ability yet.

Also, I see no upload progress bar, i am clicking convert within a second of clicking upload and itā€™s still working, but idk ppl with slow internet will handle that.

Ok I updated the CSS. Better now?

itā€™s all on GitHub. Link in top post.
youā€™d need to have a bunch of stuff installed. Spring boot, Maven etcā€¦

Files upload when you click Convert.

sweet, yeah itā€™s working better

Only one minor visual bug: When going through doing multiple fonts, the download button stays as ā€œRe-download converted filesā€ and doesnā€™t reset to ā€œDownload converted filesā€ when you click upload the second+ time. The download button should probably go away when you click Convert, and re-appear when it finishes.

This thing canā€™t handle multiple font folders at once, right? i.e. upload entire SD card, click convert, it does each root directory sub folder?

the script version did multiple levels.
canā€™t guarantee it handles all things as fine tuned as they are in the current version
but youā€™re welocome to play

If I want to use this to optimize my proffie fonts for FAT32, can it handle alt folders? Based a quick test the answer seems to be no, but I wanted to make sure I didnā€™t miss something.

Grrā€¦ no.
Let me get to that.

No biggie. I can just run each alt folder through the converter on its own as a workaround.

4.0 is almost done. Itā€™ll have a standalone audio converter, incorporate alt fonts, and hopefully handle a folder of folders so you can do multiple fonts in one shot.

Iā€™m going to guess it doesnā€™t like that many fonts at once, but I made it support multiples.
I also included the source path in the logs for extras and tracks as per your request.

I finally get Audacity and MacOS14.3 working and now this update to 4.0?
Thanks @NoSloppy!! Itā€™s PartyTime!!

Not sure if Iā€™m doing something wrong, trying to optimize a proffie font for FAT32, but its just loading endlessly. How long does this usually take? I thought it was a sub-folder issue so i just have all the .wav files in the soundfont folder but still no luck.
