Something is coming (Proffieboard V3)

Wasn’t this part of it?

I forgot about that picture, that would have worked.
Although hopefully the pictures I created today are actually better.

Thanks, Brian. I too forgot about that. It’s been a long development cycle. I was following the v3 until late ‘21 when it was clear the chips were all spoken for, and it’d be delayed

Congratulations on creating and continuously pushing forward with the proffie 3.9!
You deserve a well earned break after this!
And thank you for your continued support for all of us!

Ill have to grab one of these asap!

I’ve had a 2-year break already, I’m ready to GO

If you are ready… I wouldn’t mind an M2 5mm longer but with USB charging and low-amp switch off. Just saying.

The M2 design already has low-amp switch-off.
No USB charging though, and 5mm is not enough for that.

So much real estate takes USB charging? I would never have figured that out. But the low-amp switch is still a huge win for me. And with the really small TP4056 now available, it’s not really that much of a problem. Solder pads for D-, D+, V+USB would make it a perfect board.

We got one!!! (Hits bell)

Electronics123 also has skinny strips, which I ordered separately. I know folks are always looking for those for quad blades and such

Yeah, looks like KR and tritium are open for V3 business.
Guess it’s the 4th somewhere…

Have just bought a few V3 from Tritium.

So proffie v3.9 definitely comes first on the priority list, but is there any news on M2?

There is no actual news on the M2 front, but it does seem fairly likely that an M2 board will be made at some point this year.

Ok the board is amazing but have you seen the collector’s coin?! Tritium’s etch is on the other side.

That’s my kind of added value.

And for only buying one board, which is all I can afford right now. Very classy, Tritium!
