Btw Is that clamp 3d printed???
Will this start life with the -beta
appended URL?
Great. How about a 7.2
Yep, they will also be available on github of course.
Well, we have one oled fix in progress and one fix in your prop file, so yes, a 7.2 will be on the way soon.
I may have a fix coming, waiting for user to test in my prop thread.
I was today years old when I learned that sounds don’t NEED to start at 1. They just need to be in sequence.
clsh02.wav
clsh03.wav
clsh04.wav
is totally legit.
Not recommended of course, just sayin.
Happenstance of trying and failing to cause an Error In Font Directory intentionally.
Trying to test TrLoopN.
TransitionEffectL<TrConcat<TrDelay<1000>,TrSmoothFade<800>,White,TrLoopNX<Int<5>,TrJoin<TrSmoothFade<500>,TrWipe<500>>>>,EFFECT_IGNITION>,
I was expecting a 1 second delay, then an 800ms smoothfade in of White, then a 5x repeat of a simultaneous 500ms wipe and smoothfade.
What I get seems to be instantly starting 800ms smoothfade, then solid white for about 300-500 ms, then sudden no white.
DId I do something wrong?
P.S. Ignition and retraction have become my favorite effect again since BendTimePowX!
Worth the wait, knew it would be awesome. Really glad we all pulled together and Fredrik thanks for making it happen.
I’m super confused by this.
If you’re going to use it for ignition, maybe use the TrInOutL so we can see what’s really going on?
Sorry. Did not at all mean to be confusing.
It’s just an ignition effect, meant to overlay on top of the base.
InOutTrL is just doing a TrWipeSparkTip out and in.
This is a “power swell” on top of it, developing slightly after the blade extends, looking to test how TrLoopN works.
Could have just as well had a black base blade for the test.
The purpose was to show it’s not doing the loop of TrJoin Smoothfade and Wipe repeated 5x, as I thought that’s what I had written it to do.
Probably not doing the color right. I will try a simpler example. Sorry.
No worries, it’s just hard to tell what’s wrong from the video.
You’re also using the new TrConcat-without-colors-inbetween, which could also be part of the problem.
I have tested begin and end auto blast in Fett263 Prop File. Its trickier than OS6, but it works.
I have also tested these new defines:
- FETT263_DISABLE_CHANGE_FONT
- FETT263_DISABLE_CHANGE_STYLE
- FETT263_DISABLE_COPY_PRESET
These 3 defines work and fixed my biggest gripes from OS6 on Fernando’s Prop File.
What’s trickier?
The button press length, whereas it used to be press blast then swing to turn it on. The button press is probably trickier for me, because I have SA22C defines for Aux Lock Hold. There is nothing wrong with it per se, I just thought it was more intuitive on OS6. I’m sure you had reason to change it.
That hasn’t changed since OS6. I think you’re thinking of Battle Mode. In Battle Mode if you swing immediately after a blast it automatically enables Multi-Blast. If you’re not in Battle Mode then it’s a long click, which I guess is tricky with the sa22c define but it wasn’t changed from OS6.
oh, I hadnt tested in battle mode, if its still blast then swing in battle mode, im ok with that. Ill test in battle mode tonight. Im trying to find things that need testing, as I really like what os7 brings. This might be the greatest OS yet!
Question re: Presets.ini. I am aware of the placeholder text to be added before/after the contents of the Presets.ini file in OS7. However, the Presets.ini file since OS7 as not been just placeholder text before/after the presets entries, but rather entirely blocks of text like the below… What does that mean? How would I manually edit Presets.ini? Am I missing something?

The define FETT263_DISABLE_MULTI_BLAST works as intended.
This page should explain it I hope:
short press aux blast, then swing while in battle mode does not turn on multi blast for me. Even in battle mode, I’m having to do the medium press of the aux button.
