Help with the Proffieboard v2.2

So I am required to use a RGB Pixel Blade Connector LED Board on the Proffieboard v2.2, and due to the config sight not having this as an option, I am very confused. Help would be greatly appreciated as this project is due by the 19th of November.

Does the pixel connector have a manual? What is it exactly?

Its the “RGB Pixel Blade Connector LED Board” from 123 Electronics, which very helpfully didn’t come with a manual or pin schematics. My Instructor thinks that it is a LED star, but I’m starting to have my doubts.

I’m looking at this

It is not an LED star, like a tri-cree (if that’s what you mean).

You can still use the V2.2 configurator as a guide. Where the strip is reprsented there are 3 wires:

The red wire goes to the + pads on the connector, closest to the edge.
The black wire goes t othe - pads on the connector, closer to the center.
The pink wire goes to the D2 pad.

I see two resitors on the connector, but only one D pad. This suggests that the LEDs on the surface of the connectore are wired in parallel with the blade data. One blade style should be enough for each preset.

I can’t thank you enough for your help, I’m setting this up now

It’s a pretty simple set up but an amazing price point. I get all of my boards at this supplier, and the quality is excellent.

It’s not working, but I think this is because the person who programed this board programed it like a v3.9, so I’m gonna try to reprogram it to see if that works.

Yes, it has to be set up for the correct board. If you get stuck you can post your config file here.

There’s a button above the text box the looks like </> Use that paste the code between the backtics so it

looks like this
