Happy Holidays! Per a special request from a young saber fan I have added multiple new Holiday Styles to the OS6 library.

Christmas Tree - Updated for OS6 with more options This style replicates a Christmas tree with a pulsing star top and blinking lights throughout. The base has a gradient effect that allows you to lean your saber against a light colored wall to create a tree-shaped aura.

Candy Cane - I have multiple candy cane options including an Inertia Swing version that moves based on the inertia you generate and then settles back to static.

String Lights - I have added multiple blinking and pulsing “String Light” options to replicate a string of holiday lights for fun.

Much appreciated! She loves it and so does her brother. I just need to hang the string lights up on her new doll-shelf now that I made the blade plug connector/adapter.

*I think I mentioned this before but just in case I didn’t, as far as ForceEffect, can we get an option to edit the timing on-the-fly for the pulsing ForceSlow added in? Heck an option to be able to EditMode in different ForceEffects would be above and beyond. This way I can skip going in and having to edit the millisecond overall timing as well as the pulse “breathing” timing.

OS7 has 2 additional style option arguments which you could apply that would allow editing whatever integer values you wanted within a style.

Just so you know, it looks like the white + 2 color candy cane styles (static, slow, medium, fast) are dropping a comma after the white color

Also, the string lights blinking 1 color have an extra bracket after the base color

We also love Xmas and celebrate and these are super fun!

If you’re into doing Chanukah this year it’d be blue/silver with a gold tip or center, and each aux press or clash would add another gold spot until you hit 9 (one candle always there to light the other 8).

Continuing the Holiday Theme, here is a new Hanukkah Menorah blade style for Proffieboard. There are several Interactive control options as well as a right-handed and left-handed version to allow the “candles” to be lit from Right to Left in order. Each Interactive step will light a “candle” on the Menorah.

  • Interactive Force Effect will light each candle one-at-a-time each time you do your Force Effect
  • Interactive Clash Effect will light each candle each time you do a Clash
  • Interactive Swing Effect will light each candle each time you swing the saber
    The “candles” will remain lit as long as the preset is active, cutting power or changing presets will reset.
    There are two versions to allow the Menorah to be lit from Right to Left
  • Right-Handed (lights from hilt to tip in order)
  • Left-Handed (lights from tip to hilt in order)

The style code is available in the Holiday Styles section of the OS6 Library.
