  1. Where is the ProffieOS folder located? It must be unzipped, and it must be on your C: drive. In particular it cannot be on the Proffie SD card.
    EDIT: You tried with ProffieConfig I see, so that rules out an issue with the ProffieOS folder.

  2. It looks like your issue may be similar to this one where there’s something fiddly with the upload utility. In this person’s case they were able to solve it with Windows compatibility settings.

If neither of those are your issue, I would recommend uninstalling/reinstalling the arduino-proffieboard plugin and trying before proceeding with anything else. And doing so with any AV turned off. Some are particularly ugly with how they mess with files, both when they’re installed and when you try to run them.
