What is the config you are using?
It should be a .h file and you need to reference it in the proffieos.ino.

Mercenary.h (71.8 KB)
this is the one im using. i also keep getting this error as of now.

Invalid FQBN: getting build properties for board proffieboard:stm32l4:ProffieboardV2-L433CC: invalid option ‘pclk’

Compilation error: Invalid FQBN: getting build properties for board proffieboard:stm32l4:ProffieboardV2-L433CC: invalid option ‘pclk’

I just checked it on my end and it compiled fine for me, it seems to me that you may have the wrong board selected. Do you have Proffieboard V2 selected or Butterfly-L433CC?

my board is a proffie 2.2 just to be clear

Try using the boot and reset buttons on the board and try reuploading

done that and i still get error 255
it could be a bad micro usb but im not even sure anymore

Just uploaded it to one of my sabers to check if uploading was gonna be an issue on my side but everything uploaded fine for me.
Did you alter Proffieos.ino in any way other than adding your config?

Nope. I could do a fresh install. Just give me a few minutes

Make sure not to leave a duplicate, delete the Proffie folder before downloading another.

still getting the same issue. idfk what to do at all. im just gonna buy a new cable and see if that works

Can you show me in the arduino sketch where you are addressing the config?

error 255.txt (43.4 KB)
heres a txt file for it

You may be right about it being a hardware issue because everything software wise seems fine.

yup. guess i gotta buy a new micro usb cable lmaoooooooooooo

Hopefully that would do it.
I recommend a low profile data only 90 degree cable.

Before resorting to that try uninstalling the proffieboard plugin in arduino ide and redownload and try again.

Please let me know if that works.
