Yes please
sorry to do this to ya @cryptic96 but the tool has tendency to time out and when that happens all my presets go missing. e.g.
I had 22 presets, and My original config had 7 presets plus there was a some errors but I can’t copy those to post here.
thanks! that’s a start i could work with. I’ll try to look into this when i have the chance!
with the time out and missing presets I removed the #define save state thinking that might be causing issues. but the usb timed out again and I’m seeing the same behaviour where the first 3 presets are the only ones that are present and the rest are all missing. I don’t have another cable but could it be the docking station on the steam deck? I think I can test it on my sons linux desktop.
I already started an investigation, but i havent gotten far.
The connection issues could just because I rewrote the app from JavaScript to .NET. But I’m working on it where I can. I’ll update when I know more
does it help that I check the preset.ini and unlocked it using Brian’s app and it is showing the preset.ini

so I have been having some inconsistent results. when I click on the “+” and add a few soundfonts using existing soundfonts it has a tendency of becoming unresponsive. now, I am using my steamdeck to do this cause it could either be a memory or cpu bottlenecked but I thought I’d raise it here first.
I was also wondering with the Font field it has fontname;common
is there any way we can scan for common folder within the folder? e.g. fontname;fontname/common?
I haven’t been able to actually work on this lately. But if you’re missing features (either because they are missing compared to the original, or because you want to add a feature request) it can (almost) always be build. Just for my own ‘administration’, I’d prefer it if you add it as an issue on my github page for this project here: Issues · theunschut/ProffieOS-Workbench. I’d appreciate it!
please be as detailed as possible so i can more easily build a fix or feature for what you need! no need to put everything in one issue either. each issue/feature in a separate issue is better anyways
I have logged in and will raise an issue shortly.
