A redesigned version of ProffieOS Workbench

Sadly back to “BLE connection failed: No valid BLE service filters provided Error: No valid BLE service filters provided at Object.requestDevice”

This should have reverted the BLE connection failed issue… I hope :joy:

Loving all this.
One less thing I can drop off my to-do someday list!
Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, plus I don’t ever really use it, but will give it a run through when I can.

I was trying to edit the config but the flashing may have done something with my clash, for some reason I can’t do the volume level setting by Hold PWR + Clash but when I’m using the webusb Clash does nothing?

do you mean blast? or clash?
Does clash or blast do anything without being attached to the workbench?
Do other triggers work from the workbench?

Might also be a good idea to revert back to the old (i suppose) working config to check if this does work?

I meant clash, not blast that works fine.

ah, those are the Fett single button controls right?

oops, yeah it’s a single button setup but the reason I wanted to use web usb was to see if I could edit the clash threshold but I’m still having issues with the volume control, I guess my next steps are to use the serial monitor, p.s. nice work bro this workshop is great.

If it’s not clashing now, like I said before, I would probably try to upload the old config (if you have it) and see if that still works? AFAIK, If the saber doesn’t do a clash, the workbench won’t either.

If it does, you are at least sure the board still registers the clash.

so the clash is now working I think there was a mode I was in. but I’m wondering in the edit mode what are the different fields?

the fields in the edit mode of the preset are as follows:

is there a key to the following

style option

ignition option

ignition time

@profezzorn I’m wondering about these edit settings there’s no human readable I could go in blind but I’d like know what each one is.

I have been wondering myself but I somewhat copied it from the original. I basically just redesigned the user interface, not the functionality

I did some testing and the following have been mapped.

Color 9 = Blast

Color 10 = Clash

Color 11 = Lockup

Color 13 = drag

Color 15 = lb

Color 16 = Melt

Good to know. Is that always? On any font?
Then I’ll try to update the app with translations when I’m able to do so

I’ll check but I’ll get back to you on that.

I found the issue and I fixed them but I have another question.

in your proffie workshop when I select the edit button, the Timing and sensitivity shows 0 for all the settings.

I would have thought that it should display the settings configured?

I can’t test the webusb because it doesn’t load the edit on my steam deck.

What do you mean by “the issue” and what did you fix?

Could be a few things. Either a bug I need to investigate in my code or the value is actually this? Can you check what they are in the original workbench?

reload and I can see the settings, swing on speed and blade length are being seen on the usb webusb original has the numbers set for the sensitivity and timing settings.

I’m sorry, but I’m not entirely following what you mean?
