Upgrading the battery of my pach store hilt to handle a quantum blade just wanted to make sure this was a good fit and what are you guys using? Looking at the Molicel INR18650-P28A 2800mAh
35A seems overkill to me, unless you’re going to use a really monstrous LED. I like these 15A Keepower rigs.

I also use 15A batteries with my high-amp blades (well, all really). The wiring for most builds just isn’t enough to go much higher. Recommended wiring for NPXL pcb’s to power a 4 strip blade is 1x18awg or 2x22awg (source: Shtok NPXL manual), which can carry 14 to 16a. For 30a, you’d need something like 2x18awg or 3x20awg.

Yessir! I’m not sure how long a proffie would hold out at 30A though.
Cramming those extra 22 AWGs in there is the way. I ain’t an electrician but I think skinny wires turn what would have been light into heat. I still can’t believe these Chinese sabers with 1x 26AWG on a 10A battery. I think just wiring them right makes them brighter!

Use 3 FETs and you should be fine.
