Trouble with volume menu on ProffieOS 8.1

Hi,
I flashed version 8.1 on a Proffie 2.2v using Arduino IDE 2.3.4 (4.6) on Windows 11. I’ve been testing and playing around with it.

I’m a beginner user, so I can’t test advanced features, but so far, everything seems to work fine at my novice level.

However, I found a small issue: when I enter VOLUME mode, the voice starts saying “MINIMUM VOLUME - MAXIMUM VOLUME” about 100 times within a few seconds. So far, this is the only malfunction I’ve noticed.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what might be causing it?

What prop file are you using?
Can you post your config file?

Does the serial monitor say anything interesting when this happens?

Not all of the new features in 8.1 are advanced.
Any please report any new features you have successfully tested in the 8.1 thread so we can check them off as tested. :slight_smile:
