Possibly something for OS8?? Just an idea would be good if you have a track playing that the volume drops in that when something spoken is happening, eg force quotes and altchng sounds etc
To a small degree, this is already happening because of the dynamic compressor that is a part of the proffie audio pipeline. There is also some code for explicit ducking, but right now that is only used for error messages.
Ducking can sound pretty bad when not done properly though. We’d need a way for the font to specify if ducking should be done, and how much I think.
