I’m excited to see this project eventually coming to fruition:
It’s a thunderbolt-based 4-channel oscilloscope with bandwidth up to 350Mhz.
And it’s open-source!
This is how I want my oscilloscopes to work. I don’t want triggers and fast-updating displays, I just want to capture a bunch of data, then zoom in and out and analyze, like you do with a logic analyzer.
Currently I use an Hantek 6022BL + sigrok/pulseview for this, which is actually a pretty decent combination, but it’s limited to 24Msamples per second, and only two channels. The thunderscope would be a significant upgrade!
