Stripped Screw Hole

So I got this Dark Matter Vindicator Staff from SaberBay custom installed not to long ago

Haven’t used it much because well it’s a staff & it’s just too big to be playing around with inside, plus the hilt is mostly a lightsaber blade which makes it a tad flimsy.
Extremely Hard build it seems, but a pretty cheap one for a $90 hilt

Anyways I’ve been showing it off a couple of times & the Screw Holes seemed to have stripped one-by-one pretty fast, only taking less than 10 times of me opening it up to change the battery or turn it off.
Chassis is a pretty normal PVC one & with all the complex wiring it has mapped in it I figured I’d see if anyone knows of any Fixes for a Stripped Screw Hole before getting my guy to figure out a better chassis & installing it.

FIrst answer is always to tap the hole slightly bigger and use a bigger screw.
The bigger screws also have stronger hold, which hopefully makes it not strip so quickly next time.

We recently had a whole thread[1] about this: Re-Tapping a Lightsaber Hilt (Help needed.. Is this my only option?)
