I was wondering if Blade length can be saved with a preset…or a copy of a preset while using the menu function…? Someone asked due to wanting to swap different blades with obviously different sizes. I would think this could be useful possibly for some builds.
Blade length is normally saved to the “curstate.ini” file.
If you have multiple blades, you can set up blade ID, which will give you a different blade array, and a different save directories for different blades.
However, there is currently no way to do this by just using menus. I could imagine having a menu that would let you choose which savefile directory to use, and you could have different presets and curstate files, but no such menu exists today.
Another way to do it would just be to have a smarter menu for blade length which allows you to save the length for blades you have so that you could relatively quickly select which blade length to use. Since I’m currently working on menu abstractions for ProffieOS, maybe I can incorporate that.

Thank you for the information. Yes I did read over blade ID and this is great to. Saving that blade state in edit mode would be great for the future. Thanks again.
