So I’m trying do you the special ability to play my quote? I have all my quotes set up any quotes folder and they’re listed as quote01 quote02 etc… but I get no quotes played. Can I only have one or the other a quotes folder or force folder? I have everything else working now except I noticed that today
On another note, can I have a quote folder in the old spot as well where it’ll quote for a bite on and then vice versa for the dark side I’m assuming the answer is yes but I just got to make sure that said before that their name the same same amount of files in the folder I just wanted to double check I know it sounds like a dumb question
The folder needs to be named ‘quote’ and the files should be quote01.wav, quote02.wav, etc.
First thing to check is the name of the quotes folder. The quotes folder should be “quote”. I had this issue a couple of times where I called the folder “quotes” on the SD card, but it should be “quote”. This would be a quick thing to check at least.

The full name of the file should be quote01.wav. However, if your computer is breaking up the name into sections, then it may display that differently, which it sounds like that’s the case here.
Assuming you’re on Windows, you can go to the “View” tab in File Explorer and turn on “Show File Extensions” (or something along those lines) to make it clearer.
If the file extension is being hidden (.wav) then it makes sense the computer is showing the name as “quote01.”
Thank you I had the contents labeled correctly but not my folders! thanks for the help everyone. Boy definitely a learning curve but I think I got it down thanks to everyones help appreciate it and looking forward to more installs in the future for myself and others.
