Hello. Just got my Proffie saber today and picking up on the coding pretty quickly. I was able to add a Fett blade source along with the Kyberphonics Vader font. Father V2. I got it all installed and the saber works and toggles through all the fonts, but for some reason on top of the font activation sounds it’s also saying “voice pack not found” on top of every one.
If someone could assist or has ran into a similar problem
please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Just add one of the folders and name it “common” and reference it in your presets like this:
“Yourfont;common”,
Thanks, I have a common folder currently with the voice packs on the sd card. I don’t believe I structured the names with the “;common” piece however. When looking for answers online I read about the common folder needing an .ini file in it? Is that true?
ProffieOS uses the ini file to determine if your voice pack is a “V2” voice pack or a “V1” voice pack. The default is V1, meaning that if there is no ini file, ProffieOS will assume it’s a V1 voice pack. In ProffieOS 8.x, some of the Props require a V2 voice pack, and will generate an “error in voice pack” if you give it a V1 voice pack.
V2 voice packs come with the required ini file, so generally you don’t have to do anything other than download a V2 voice pack and copy it to the “common” folder.
If you just add the ini file to a V1 voice pack, the error will go away, but then some sounds won’t work, so don’t do that.
In the future, I expect there to be additional versions of voice packs with even more sounds.
(V3, V4, etc.)
