Proffieboard issues

I have an issue. So yesterday I went to use my Graflex Episode 9
proffie saber, and it was working fine. All of a sudden, the sound started crackling despite battery being at like 90 percent charge, and eventually minutes later it just stopped working. The sound would cut out and come back as crackly as it was minutes ago, but on and off randomly throughout the day. Then I went to upload a blade style for my Ahsoka font that I made on Fett263’s blade style library in Arduino, and suddenly it said it couldn’t even read the board despite not having any problems before. Now the saber doesn’t work AT ALL, and only the little light on the actual board itself is on but is stagnant as if it is frozen completely.

I have an 89sabers removable core with two buttons, one for power and the other for auxiliary, but doing the BOOT and RESET method does nothing. I wanna send it back to CCsabers since they said they’d look at it, but I want the saber to work again by May 1st. What do I do? I’ve been researching all day and nothing has helped… arduino won’t even recognize that it’s plugged in with the serial moniter either, so I’m at an impasse. Had this saber for just under 2 months, and I don’t wanna have to buy a new one cuz I don’t have the money for that right now. Help me Hubbe-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope. ;w;

This sounds like an electrical problem, and sending it back is going to be your best bet.

Talk to CCsabers and see if they can make it go faster somehow? Some companies can do what’s called an “advanced replacement” where they send you a replacement, you send yours back, and they will only charge you if you somehow forget to send yours back, or if they find that the damage is somehow your fault.

I talked to CCsabers and they said to send it back. Haven’t had time to just yet, hoping to in the next couple of days once I find a good enough box to protect the hilt in xD. They said to send the whole hilt and the chassis back so they can do a full inspection just in case something else is up. I’m still not sure what happened. It was working just fine on Thursday, ran out for a couple hours, got home and the speaker was just buzzing and sounding broken. Then it just decided it wanted to act fozen. Cant even turn the power on. Sending it back asap, hoping to have it back and functioning again by May 1st since I’m going to see Return of the Jedi in concert on May 3rd and wanna have it with me haha.
