So I used the proffieOS to upload the config file I made to my proffieboard. Now it’s just saying font directory not found no matter what i do. How do I fix this?
Make sure the fonts in your config are on your SD card and that they are spelled exactly the same.
If your config has the “;common” folder in the presets make sure you added the “common” folder to the root of the SD as well.
They are currently just called Bank01-Bank32, do I just need to rename them?
And my config says things like TeensySF, SmthJedi, or StyleFirePwr. Should I rename each one to one of these?
They need to match.
You need to rename them in one place, or the other (or both if you want, but that is not required.)
FWIW, you may want to use a config provided by whoever you got your saber from that matches the fonts on your sd card.
You can use a generic/generated one (I presume the one you flashed is from the configuration generator?), but you’ll lose the bladestyles that were setup, as well as the blade configuration. That might not be a big deal to you if things were pretty simple though.
I also assume that, given the “Bank” font names, this is a Chinese saber, in which case it’s probably not a bad idea to create a new config from scratch anyways, but the above still applies as far as being aware that some additional effort may be required to get things as expected as far as blade effects, gestures, misc settings, etc.
