Proffie requires battery power to use USB

My proffie board will not allow me to use the usb connection without battery power supplied while using the usb cabe. I have tried different cables, different laptops and reprograming with os6.7 and os6.8 same results, the board works when powered without the usb attached just cannot communicate over usb connection by itself I have attached the last programing competion any ideas thanks for the help

Does it communicate over USB when there’s battery power?
Sounds like you should test the D62 diode where vBus power comes in.

As problems go, this is a pretty minor one.
My suggestion would be to just live with it.

One of my boards requires battery power. I just live with that one.

Yes it does communicate over USB with battery power, I just want to fix it if it’s possible to be fixed, I will check D62

You are correct NoSloppy D62 is bad I will have to get some on order so that I can replace it
