Proffie Compiling error

I’m new to proffie, and ran into a problem trying to verify the config file on Arduino. I followed a tutorial on youtube and i believe i followed every step. I am using mac. When i try to verify, it shows this error:

fork/exec /Users/(myname)/Library//Arduino15/packages/proffieboard/tools/arm-none-eabi-gcc/12-3-rel1/bin/arm-none-eabi-g++: no such file or directory
Error compiling for board Proffieboard V2

I haven’t added any fonts or changed blade styles. I have not seen anyone else with this exact error. Does someone know what could be the issue here?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Welcome to the the Crucible.

So first of, you need to edit and delete the photo of the screenshot. It is not appreciated here. You may not be able to edit your post as a new user, but you will after you post a few times. It will need to be deleted if you want proffezorn help.

Second, better if you copy/paste the whole error (text format) message here.

To post, used 3 back ticks “`” before and after your error code.

You can aslo use the same format to post your config or you can attach it as a file too.

Now about your error, I believe it is a problem with your Proffieboard Arduino Plugin. Newest version 4.1.0 was just released today. Do you have it installed in Arduino (or at least the previous version 3.6.0) ? The plugin is either not there or not installed correctly.

It’s weird that it shows 2 slashes in that path.

You could try just deleting the /Users/(yourname)/Library/Arduino15 folder and then reinstalling the plugin.
Quit Arduino before deleting.

Thanks gor tour reply! I was already able to fix it by asking chatgpt. I had to reinstall the proffieboard file and the plugin and then it was fixed

Just please make sure you edit your first post and delete the photo of the screen.
It takes useless space on proffezorn server, it serve no purpose.

Photos of screen are never allowed here.

Screenshots are sometimes allowed but only if text can’t be posted instead and it is needed to understand the problem.
