Just to give an update…
I went through all of my white profiles and dialed them down from 255,255,255, to 200,200,200. Reflashed it and it’s working fine now. Only my Elf sabers do this. All of my other proffies work just fine with the full white profiles.
That thing you found on the positive line is a diode.
It will cause a voltage drop of 0.55 volts, which seems like a bad thing to me.
I would remove it, or replace with one of ShtokD’s FET-based rectifiers.
What would that be for?

Put this module instead: Battery Polarity Fixer Board – Saberbay — it will not only protect all your electronics from reverse polarity if you insert the battery the wrong way, but will also just make it work in any inserted way
