Proffie 2.2 Verify Error Messdage

If at all possible use proffie-dfu-setup.exe instead.
If you prefer zadig, use these directions:

As far as I can tell everything looks good to go though.

Woo Hoo!!! It worked!!! Thank you so much for all your time and help!!! I used Zadig, simply because that was the stage I was currently at, and after running it, I verified the config (worked) and then uploaded it. The message I got back was different than what I recall from programming my other blades, but at the end it said the upload was successful. Went to the Workbench site, and it recognized it.

Thanks again for all your time and efforts!! Now i can finally go about adding my fonts and styles!

Just ran into what appears to be a minor issue on this. I originally uploaded OS 6.7. I decided to try OS 7.15, since the config worked and I was able to get 6.7 to upload. Added the config file into 7.15, ran “Verify” and got no errors back. Hit upload and it appears to have uploaded - message indicates it was uploaded and the saber works - but I get this error message after uploading complete:

Just an anomaly, and nothing to worry about, or is there something I need to do to correct this? Thanks much for your help!

Correction - I added 3 new styles and fonts to the config, and those did not make it, so I guess was not successful after all.

This error means that uploading did not occur, and you probably need to run proffie-dfu-setup.exe (or zadig).

OK, thank you, will try that. I was under the impression that Zadig only had to be run once - does it have to be run every time?

You should only need to run it once.
However, guillemot drivers, and other things can interfere, forcing you to run it again.
Some people claim that they have to run it once per board, but I don’t know why that would be.

Quick update: I downloaded and installed the proffie-dfu-setup.exe file. I am not familiar with it and wasn’t sure if there was anything I needed to do after installing it, like with zadig, but when I ran a search, the only thing that came up was the .exe file, so I assume it just requires to run the setup program. After I did that, I ran verify and upload, and the same error message came up and still did not install. I then ran zadig, and this time no error message and the config installed. Thanks again for the help!!!
