Of course, make a PR and I’ll review it. Anybody can add content to the POD (which creates a PR for me to review.) Although maybe it would be better to fix the page we have than to add another one with similar information?
The program that runs on your computer is called “dfu-util”.
I would say that “dfu mode” and “bootloader mode” are the same thing. (At least on a proffieboard.) “DFU” by itself is a bit ambiguous, since it could refer to “dfu mode” or the “dfu tool”, so we should probably avoid using “DFU” by itself and always specify “dfu mode” or “dfu tool”.
I did what you recommended. Still no Port option, still greyed out. Reinstalled it and connected the board to the computer and it my computer had the usb symbol in the taskbar, but when I clicked on it, it didn’t have a name. It was just Devices and Printers then “…” greyed out. So when I put it into bootloader mode, the usb connection sound happened and it was titled back to “STM32 BOOTLOADER”, correct driver WinUSB v6.1.7600.16385. Compiled and uploaded, passed the download stage successfully and when finished, it sounded the usb disconnect sound and no board sound or lights and I have verified that my saber battery is charged.
Any more ideas? Above in the thread is my config file
I would contact TheorySabers, point them to this thread.
I have heard that they have great after sale service.
Let be known. This thread fixed it!!!
And they absolutely do. They’ve handled so many issues/questions for me that a normal customer service crew would not care to help with. They’re awesome. But thank yall for the help!!
Would you mind telling us which step in particular ?
Didn’t I suggest those steps way back here?
Did you skip this part? In Profezzorn’s video, that’s the part where he says “This sounds super scary”.
Yeah that didn’t work, but Profezzorn says somewhere in there to do that then run it on Proffieboard V2, when I did that, it said to delete a .elf file, I did that and it worked!
