(new version) The Proffieboard won't connect to the computer

I got to step 3 and immediately got confused because i could find where it is/was in the computer. If someone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

1.Download Zadig
2.Plugin the Proffieboard and toggle the RESET button while holding down the BOOT button
3.Let Windows finish searching for drivers
4.Start Zadig
5.Select Options → List All Devices
6.Select STM32 BOOTLOADER from the device dropdown
7.Select WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385) as new driver
8.Click Replace Driver

Step 3 is just going to be a little pop-up in the bottom right corner. Nothing you need to actually do.
proceed to step 4.

I know it’s supposed to be a pop-up. I’m saying that it’s not popping up at all. I waited for 10 minutes and nothing popped up

Maybe you didn’t get a pop-up. It’s probably fine. You can watch this video and note how Devices and Printers can show you the Proffieboard is connected.

Yeah, the pop-up is notoriously unreliable. If it doesn’t show up, there may be a problem, but there may not be…
