So you’re uploading v5.9? That’s exceptionally old. If that’s the case you need to review the controls by opening ProffieOS/props/saber_fett263_buttons.h
or update to the current OS (7.14). I don’t really have info on OS5 as it’s ancient by today’s standards.

I would use 7.14, it’s the current version with many improvements and fixes from 6. There’s really no reason to use outdated versions IMHO.

Is something missing on my bladeconfig. Below is what was in the config file from theory sabers website 1 button proffie file.

How many blades? If just one, looks about right.
Maybe a dumb question but do you have the SD card inserted?
If yes, have you tried reformatting it? (after backing up your content if it’s available to read)
If no, don’t you hear the board saying “Font Directory not found, SD card not found”?
As suggested above, I would update to the latest ProffieOS v7.1.4, make sure you’re up to at least Arduino-Proffieboard plugin version 3.6.0 under Tools>Board>Boards Manager.
Backup the SD and give it a fresh formatting, copy your fonts back over,
then try it again in the saber.
