Lukes control box leds

Is the blade getting power?
Is LED2/3 wired to the blade?
I’m guessing you have a pogo pin PCB of some sort? How is it wired?

subblades are a bunch of blades that share one string, for that string, there is only one blade definition, but there can be multiple strings with multiple blade definitions. (If that makes sense.)

Hello, yes Ive got LED 2 and 3 wired to negative of a pogo pin connector at the emitter, positive power from the proffieboard and data1. Theres a pogo pin type connector in the neck of the saber as well.

What kind of pogo pin board?
Is it an illuminated pogo pin board?
Is the pogo pin board one that needs to have a resistor removed?

Yes its an illuminated board, ive wired data 1 to the central D1 connection. Theres also a D2 pad with 2 resistors one on each side.

Did you follow the instructions that came with the pogo pin PCB?
Which wiring type did you use?

The instructions are a bit confusing. Would it be blade + pcb leds in series? that means id have to remove one of the resistors and wire data1 to the D2 pad?

At the moment its wired blade + pcb leds in paralell

Does the blade light up?

No light up, works on another saber

What do you mean by this?

I meant the battery +

You want the positive of the blade connector to go to the positive battery tab not to the through hole on the proffieboard labeled Batt+

Oh ok so directly from the battery not the proffieboard?

That is correct.

The pad labeled Batt+ is for the board to receive power not send it.

Oh ok haha thanks Matt

You’re welcome.

Also how did you want the blade and connector LEDs to function.

There is 4 different options and I don’t think you are currently using any of them.

Its a shtok connector, I find them very confusing. I just want the connector leds to light up to mimic the blade.

So you want it to be parallel which is option 2.

For that option you send all data to the pad labeled D2 on the connector and that’s the only data line you need.

Okay so leave the 2 resistors next to D2?

That is correct

Edit: if you want them parallel.
