Looking for Kyberphonics The Old Knights Blade Styles

I’ve been collecting lightsabers for a while now & had 5 Proffie ones because I just had to have a certain ELF or 89saber, & just got my 6th Proffie one recently. It’s the custom Shadowfall from Vader’s Sabers & I know the guy that helped model it, so now it’s made me start to learn how to learn to program Proffieboards.
I started by watching the Sabertrio vid on Kyberphonic’s website & learned to how to install the config.h files. Then I learned off here how to mess with accents so I could light up some Exposed Crystal Chambers & change the pulsing pattern on them, & do the same with the buttons on a Palpatine saber I had that didn’t come with a config file on the SD card.

I’m still probably in the 3/10 phase of understanding Proffie, but since I started learning how to install Blade Styles from a video about it on the Kyberphonic site I assumed he sold the Blade Styles he showed, Sound & All.

I Just bought The Old Knights pack for over $100, & I wouldn’t have done it for that much if I knew I wasn’t going to be getting each of those unique looking Blade Styles he was showing. I mean he even has a video explaining how to install Proffie Blade Styles from Sabertrio!!!

Anyways, is there anyway to get/buy those from another site, because I know there’s noway I’ll be able to make a Blade Style like that for at least another 1-2 years & even then it would take forever to make them all!

I’m pretty sure Jesse gets all of his styles from my library. If you have a point in a video you’re trying to find I can probably point you in the right direction or you can just explore and choose what you want your blade to look like.

I’m seeing a BUNCH of different base blade styles to work off of to create the actual Blade Style code, but I’m not seeing any actually ready to copy & paste.

Is this a lightsaber editor that’s more advanced than other ones, & less of a library?

Either way thanks for pointing out this style editor (and making it I assume based on your name?) because I’ve been using a different one. Think I’ll have more fun with this in the future once I figure it all out…

The library will generate the style code for you to paste, it allows you to choose styles, options and effects and customize. There’s 100s of thousands of premade style and effect combinations available. There’s also a lot of new effects and capabilities I’ve built in, to allow you to easily implement new features from OS7.

Watch the recommended videos at the top if you haven’t used before.

You’ll pick a base style, click the blade type, Main Blade (etc), then customize and add effects on the Enhancements screen and click “Get Style Code”. Then you can paste the code you generated into your config.

You can also paste the library styles into the Editor if you want to further customize or “learn” how things work.

Thanks a bunch for recommending this me! Although I’ve spent pretty much the last 8 hours & have only gotten through how I want the Sith Lords from KotOR games I’m learning exactly what it can do & the optimal way to put it all together.

A lot easier to work with! Thanks man! I can’t imagine how many people you’ve helped. I know a good number of lightsabers I’ve bought must have used Based Styles you’ve made up & probably don’t even know…

You’re welcome, yeah a lot of users, installers and font makers get the styles from the library or use the library as the start point and tweak. It’s designed to do all the heavy lifting and make adding and customizing much easier.

If you have specific “looks” you’re after and can find a video, just specify a time stamp and I can often point you in the general direction of where or how to replicate via the library.

The Time Stamps 10 secs & I’m just trying to get that color of dark red he has blade style.

He gets it so dark but so red at the same time, almost like it’s some kind of blacklight red color.
I just don’t know how to emulate that hue of red without it coming out too dim…

It’s most likely just Red. The camera and lighting affect what you’re seeing. Sabers never look the same in person as they do in pictures and videos. Also different pixels, diffusion, blade materials play into the color you see or what’s recorded.

I can’t make out any animation, it’s not held still long enough.

Ah oh well. I’m sure I’ll come up with something even better in theme to the character.

Your style library has really been helping me put together some really nice blade styles for this pack. Technically I have them all done, but I’m at the point of understanding that I just keep discovering something else I want to do to go back over. Like now I’m just going crazy messing with the transition effects!

I always was horrible at art but this feels like an art!

It does feel like art, that’s what got me into it was first, it is definitely a fun and addictive way to pass the time. Enjoy.
