LED Star not turning on

I’ve been struggling with this for awhile, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to turn on the LEDs. I am using a 4 channel LED star Red green blue and orange. For the schematic I’ve been following I’m fairly confident that the wiring is correct so I’m guessing the issue lies in the config however the instructions haven’t been super clear on how to do anything.
Any help would be appreciated! If the config is wrong could someone point me to resources on how to config it correctly.

I basically gutted my old saber from ultrasabers and used all the parts from that just replacing the board. Everything else works besides the leds. Speakers good button good. The reason why the star has such weird led colors is because I chose a red blade with orange clash (Kinda regret it wish I just did white oh well).

I am just using the default config from the page. While testing I hooked up the usb and used the “profezzorn” website to select different presets and even tried selecting rainbow to see if it would “accidentally” trigger one of the leds with no luck.

I have turned on the leds if I flip the red line to negative and positive to the other wires (resistor lines) and that worked to turn them on so I know that at least the star works and I have broke it lol.

The configuration looks reasonable. I assume you have the battery connected?
Try shorting LED1/2/3/4 to BATT- and see if the LED lights up. (With the battery connected.)
If not, then it’s a problem with the wiring.

Putting BATT- to those pins does not work, but when I flip it and put BATT- to the Star pins 2, 4, 6, 8 and BATT+ to LED1/2/3/4 it does light up. Do you think I need to flip the whole thing then?

Yes, LEDs only work one way.
