Inline stl previews

We now have inline STL previews, which means that if you attach an STL file to a post, it looks like this:

td_chassis_top.stl (173.4 KB)

It is currently disabled on mobile since it’s a fairly heavy operation.

You may need to hit reload.
If that doesn’t help: What browser are you using? On what OS?

Shift-Cmd-R did it, thanks. Chrome on MacOS.

this is a really neat feature and i’m pretty sure i can use this for a lot of my prototype posts.

Firefox on macOS here…

File displays, you can rotate etc, but using scroll to zoom in and out also causes the page to scroll at the same time. Not the end of the world, but you’d think it could override.

I’ve found out it worked on my thread where I posted the bladeplug charger’s STLs. Strange thing until I hit this thread.
