Inconsistent Clash Detection with Presets

I am still learning configs and have a question about inconsistent clash detection. I have a Proffie3.9 running OS7. I have multiple sabers using this same configuration. With most of my sabers the clash detection is perfect, but I have a Crimson Lord from Saber Armory that has horrible clash detection with many of the presets.

I have the clash detection set to 0.25. I don’t understand how one preset has very responsive clash detection but the next one I switch to is extremely unresponsive. I have to really smack it multiple times before it registers a clash. Is there something inside the particular saberfont files or blade styles that affects this?

Are there any config adjustments outside of clash detection set to 0.25 that I can change to improve this?

First of all: 0.25 is incredibly low.
Most people want their clash detection value somewhere in the 2-4 region I think.

Second, there is a piece of code which adjusts clash sensitivity based on the volume of current sound, and I think that is the only way that the current preset can affect the clash sensitivity.

You can read more about it here:

If that’s too long to read, just try adding this to your config file:

#define AUDIO_CLASH_SUPPRESSION_LEVEL 1

Yeah, my clash detection is 2 on my other proffies, but this one just doesn’t detect it as well, so I took it down as low as it can go. It did improve it but still not enough. I’ll try the suggestion you posted. Thank you.
