Did this ever come together? With my nunchaku project, I want to be able to do swings that have a “strike” at peak swing. This way I can do swing where the “bad guy” ducks out and it looks like I’ve walloped them. Also interested in how this might work in general at this point.
What about triggering an effect as well? If the scale is 1-16, with the .wav files numbered just so, when accent 16 (or even a range like 14-16) is played could that trigger a visual clash/flash of some kind? I’d like to be able to move the chucks about and then “pop” a hard swing and have it look like I hit something.
Since we have a slash (or we did, since the scaling method replaces it) and a clash, maybe a non contact simulation of contact is a “bash”?
Thinking about it, it’s similar to multi-blast…but not quite as I’d like to do it without buttons.
