Unless you mean the ProffieConfig Introduction/Tutorial? I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else use that sort of language.

Me? I’m talking about ProffieConfig, which is an all-in-one tool for editing and uploading configs. After you download it and after it sets everything up it guides the user through the whole interface and explains what it all does and how to get started.

No, I meant the op. When I first get started here, I got a message from a chat bot to start an “advanced tutorial”. I wonder of that is what they meant.

Oh, from the crucible, I forgot about that, yeah, maybe?

The only other chat bot I know of is the GPT Brian was working on, but I don’t think that’s what was meant.

Oh, those are just tutorials for how to use this forum.
They kind of go away and hide once you’ve seen them.

But I have not seen them. I don’t think it ever “popped-up”. Any idea where I can look?

So, I think what happens is that when the first time you do something on the forum (like edit a post for instance) a text pops up telling you want to do, and that is it, that’s what these badges are talking about I think.

I’m not sure if there is a way to re-see those popups, but even if there was, I would think that googling how to use discourse would give better information. (Or simply asking a question in the “crucible” section.)

Yes I did, but I didn’t know it at the time, I figured it out:
Send a pm to “@discobot” with the text “@discobot start advanced tutorial” to find out more about what you can do.
Also “@discobot start tutorial” for the basic tutorial.
