How to Achieve an Auto Blade Retraction Blade Style

I am looking to create a blade style for when the proffie board doesn’t detect a blade. When there isn’t a blade present I want the lightsaber to act like it is trying to turn on but it can’t.

I am trying to create a blade style that ignites the blade, waits a couple of seconds, and then auto turns off.

I have looked at fett263’s proffieOS7 style library but I don’t see an option for automatic retraction. I also started looking over the code for proffieOS in order to understand how to write blade styles in a code editor, but I had a hard time understanding the blade style function call structure.

Can someone point me in the right direction to achieve this blade style?

I don’t think there is a way for a style to cause the saber to turn off currently.
We would either need to add that capability, or do this in the prop rather than in a style.
Either way requires some coding.

I have some things in development for Phase 4 of my library that can help with this. My prop can control ignition and retraction through style code for Interactive Preon effects, mini games etc.

I use it for Cortosis Clash effect currently. I have several new features coming soon to my Early Access Library that will expand on this, but I need time to build and test, but there’s a few new things I’ve got up my sleeve that would probably do the trick .

Here’s Cortosis Clash in effect for reference.
