I received an 89sabers V3.9 Proffieboard with it’s own configuration. I did not see a config file inside of the SD card. However, I did find the config file on their website. I do not like the config files inside of the SD card and need to reconfigure with my own setup. I setup Arduino and followed the step by step instructions via youtube to configure my SD card. When I put the SD card back into my saber I get a message that says something that sounds like On Direct link not found.
- Do the proffieboard setup: ProffieOS Documentation: Proffieboard Setup
- Configure ProffieOS to use your config file: ProffieOS Documentation: Proffieboard Setup
- Upload (and check that it worked: ProffieOS Documentation: Is it uploading?)
- Spoken error message helper: ProffieOS Documentation: What is it saying?
PS: When you do the upload, the compiled proffieos, including the config file gets written to memory inside the proffieboard, not the SD card.
Sounds like it’s saying “Font directory not found,” meaning there’s something amiss with the files on the SD card. My first guess would be to check the names of the font files on the config against the names of the actual files. They obvs must match.
