Probably keep it in the hev prop file for now.
It may make sense to have it split out if it is (or can be) used in multiple props.
Entirely up to you I think. I’m not sure I understand why you need multiple folders for four files though?

Ideally, I’d like to adopt the track player from the fett263 prop, but build upon it, like toggling a favorite flag on a few tracks that can be played outside of the track player, which save to an .ini on the SD card.
It was more for… organisation, there are 91 tracks total, split between 4 albums.
Although, I dived deeper into how yourself and Fernando did a track player for the fett263 prop and decided to just stick all the *.wav tracks inside /hev/tracks/

No, there isn’t, but making a directory too long will cause audio glitches if you start playing a track while other sounds are playing. What “too long” means depends on the speed of the sd card and many other things. 91 tracks is probably fine, but make sure to test it, especially if you add more.
