Aha! Sorry, I didn’t know there was a new Arduino. Apart from lightsabers, I’m not really an upgrades guy - once something’s working I like to leave it alone.

Anyway 2.2.1 now downloaded. So am I right in saying the list under the Boards Manager menu shows the two plugins, with 3.6.0 being shown as Proffieboard (proffieboard) and 3.7.0 being shown as Proffieboard (proffieboard_experimental)?

That is correct, it’s what happens when you have both the regular and experimental URL in the list of board manager URLs.

Ok, I’ve added a small bugfix to the arduino-proffieboard plugin, and I’ve updated the “experimental” and “beta” branches to point to v4.1.0.

Please remember, Arduno 2.x is required to install.

I plan to rolling the stable version to v4.1 in ~2 weeks.
Less bugs = more better.

This brings a new compiler which seems to have fewer bugs than the old one, and may also generate slightly more efficient code. There is also a new menu for SPI speed which can largely be ignored. Please note that Arduno 2.x is required to install this. It can still be used with Arduino 1.x, but only after you install it with Arduno 2.x (or manually).
