Errr... whats this Arduino Error for Proffie 6.4 mean?

In file included from F:\BK Saber Stuff\Proffie\proffie6.4OS\ProffieOS\ProffieOS.ino:218:0:
sketch\common/common.h:9:24: error: missing binary operator before token "("

exit status 1
Error compiling for board Proffieboard V2.

What version of the arduino-proffieboard plugin do you have?

Arduino version 1.8.13

You’ll need to go to arduino → tools → board → board manager to see what the installed version of the arduino-proffieboard version is.

arduino → tools → board → board manager = Proffieboard V2

The board manager looks like this:

It shows that I have version 3.6.0 from the beta track beta of the arduino-proffieboard plugin installed.

ah…mine wasnt up to 3.6.0

let me update to that and give it one more try

ok, so that WORKED! NO Arduino errors for OS6.4 this time now.

But now the saber has issues, lol. Every time I ignite the saber…it also triggers a clash or a stab along with the ignition. And when I perform a blaster block, it also triggers a clash with it.

Using the same Clash Threshold I always use for all my proffie sabers (CLASH_THRESHOLD_G 1.8)

Try increasing it a bit, ProffieOS 6 tends to be a bit more sensitive, although I must admit I’m not entirely sure why.

Bumped it up to G 2.4 and that fixed it.

All good now, rockin’ and rollin’
