Does setting saber to mass storage work so i don't have to take the card out?

Your thread was a big reason why I brought it up :stuck_out_tongue:
I personally haven’t ripped off a USB port, but I have had to replace an HDMI port that was destroyed similarly once…

Honestly I’ve contemplated voluntarily removing the USB port on some of my builds, since they all have an external USB-C data port, and the USB port prevents me from mounting the board sd-card-side-up

Well you’re in luck if you ever do, because it’s only 4 contacts (well, plus the mount tabs), so about 1/5 easier compared to HDMI.

Eh, with a reflow station it’s honestly just about the same amount of work. Just slap it on and heat it up!

Assuming the joints break, and it’s not the pads and/or traces ripped off. I guess with the quality of most proffieboards people buy being… lesser the likelihood of the port just coming off is more likely though lol.
