Disable audio feedback on Edit Blade Length

Probably a question for Fett, but is there a way to disable the audio feedback when editing the blade length in edit mode? It takes way too long to edit the length more than a handful of LEDs because of having to wait until the audio feedback finishes playing. I don’t even bother when I swap my 36" blade for a 12" or 18". I know I can setup specific blade lengths using blade ID, but I was having too many inconsistencies with it with my values for each blade being to close to each other. I will revisit that again eventually, but for now, I have just set it for one blade to max length and then adjust accordingly depending on the blade I’m using.

You know you can increase or decrease by 5 to make large changes much faster, right?

While in Edit Mode controls are as follows:

Rotate Forward, Increase Value, Confirm "Yes" = Turn Right
Increment by 5 (Fonts, Tracks, Blade Length) = Hold PWR + Turn Right
Rotate Back, Decrease Value, Confirm "No" = Turn Left
Increment by 5 (Fonts, Tracks, Blade Length) = Hold PWR + Turn Left

The other option would require manually editing the menu controls.

I did not know that. Thanks. That helps when there’s only a small difference in blade length, but I still run into the same issue when going from a 36" to a 12" or 18" blade. I guess I’ll just have to disassemble my blades and redo the blade ID resistors to get that working correctly.

There is the Blade Array selection in OS8 beta you could try. You can manually toggle different Blade Arrays (without needing BladeID) for the different lengths.
