Most people Weather a Lightsaber because they want it to look like it’s ‘Battle Worn’.
This Lightsaber was from an obscure Star Wars video game in 1998 called “Mysteries of the Sith” based around Mara Jade & was never seen again until May of this year (you can get it on Steam now).
I wanted this, what many people refer to as her “Second Lightsaber”, to reflect just how long it’s been since we’ve seen Mara Jade, or really anything having to do showing the significance & complexity of her character on the Star Wars Universe in general.
This tells a story of how she was forgotten in the middle of nowhere, just like her lightsaber, for so long until someone finally stumbled upon it randomly one day…
