So I bought Cal Kestis’s saber from ultrasabers about 3 years ago as a part of my costume for Halloween. Recently my brother bought a neopixel blade and it has me a little bit jealous, so I was wondering what would be the best way to convert my current hilt and blade into a neopixel.
Does it have a removable core? If not you would have to take it apart, see if a proffie would fit in it (I assume thats what you want, since you are here).
You would have to add a neopixel blade pcb, might have different power requirements, new chassis, etc…
I could potentially be a lot of work, but if you like tinkering, could be fun.
the whole thing of internals can come out. I just don’t know if I need to get a certain sized board or mounts of some sort
You’ll need a custom made chassis that is designed for the board and for the hilt.
