Change responsive swing sensitivity?

Can anyone point me to where I can edit the swing sensitivity for a responsive swing effect? Using the default unstable swing effect in fett’s library, I have to swing pretty hard/fast to see the unstable effect of the swing. I want the blade to break up a little when swinging to give it an unstable or flame effect not unlike Greyscale’s Omen bladestyle.

Here is the blade style I am using from Fett’s library now (Note I am using OS7 phase 3 preview if that makes a difference).
