CC led going very dim when Blue

Strange issue, my CC led goes very dark almost off when the blade is plugged in.

Its fine without the blade plugged in and only affects the blue colour… any ideas…

Its a single RGB led

Actually all colours are going dimmer when the blade is plugged in but blue is most noticable

Most likely this due to a weak battery.
Can you measure the battery voltage when the color is dim and when it isn’t?

The battery charge is about 50% and voltage is 3.58v unplugged, difficult to get the voltage when blade is attached because its inside the hilt then
