So I solved the problem I had with a button less lightsaber hilt just need make a nicer tape job around the mesh, the only trade off is that I have to pop out the core to charge it unless I cut a hole in the mesh and I don’t think I will do that. I need to pop the core our anyways to edit the proffieboard since it’s a solid hilt but I’m happy with the result, specially with 4$ filter mesh that was almost a prefect fit and I just need to poke the button with a pin and then I’ll just use gestures on and pin to change profiles.
With an adapter, you can charge through the pogo pin connector.
U mean those magnetic chargers u can put on phones?? Can you link one ?
No. I mean that you can get a blade PCB, a charge port and a resistor, then mount them all in a short piece of blade tube, then use it to charge the battery. You would need a preset or something that keeps the blade on, otherwise charging won’t work.
This being a Blade ID resistor? Or inline on one of the legs for some reason?
If inline, why / what values?
It’s for Blade ID so that the saber can select a “charging” preset while charging.
