Board at COM4 is not available

i am getting this error all of a sudden, never had this problem before but now i do for some reason, ive got the correct driver installed and the board is recognised when i plug it, then when try to upload i get this message then the board becomes unresponsive,

I remove cable, reinsert cable nothing. STM bootloader driver error in devices.

remove cable, remove battery, reinsert battery, reinsert cable the board is back and showing as proffie in devices.

im goin round in circles here, ive tried proffie-dfu-setup again but this makes no difference.

please help

ok never mind, i uninstalled the device while it was in DFU mode then ran proffie-dfu-setup again and bobs your uncle we’re back in business

Why do u think this happened? Maybe to due to latest window 11 update?

Probably. Not really sure. I havent used windows in long time.
