How Is it possible to perform a chassis or blade removal detect?
You either need a connector like this with a Blade Detect pin:
or you can achieve almost the same thing using BladeID, but you would need to add a resistor at a strategic point in the blade or fixed hilt internals depending on application:

Blade ID can often work without a resistor, but it’s a bit unpredictable, so you have to try it and see.
