Hey,
I got a GHv4 saber for Christmas and it has Greyscales Behemoth soundfont on it. So I have the font. I have purchased nearly every other one of Greyscales extra crispity fonts, but this one I got for free on the saber. I am not trying to steal Sam’s work I just want to make that clear.
I have converted the soundfont files from GHv4 format to Proffie format manually (Yes I know about the soundfont naming converter, but it wasn’t working for reasons I won’t delve into here).
The only part of the soundfont that I don’t have because I only have the GHv4 version is the soundfont’s “config.ini” file and the “smoothsw.ini” file. I was wondering if any other Behemoth owners would mind sharing a pastebin of those files for me?
Currently I plan to just use the config.ini and smoothsw.ini from one of the other styles made around the same time (Paradise, Awaken) and just hope that it is close enough.
I don’t have Behemoth but looking at a couple other Greyscale fonts it’s looks like humStart is the only spot where there’s a difference between them in the config.ini . So if there’s a dead spot in the sound or the hum feels off after ignition, you can adjust that value.
There’s a few changes in smoothswing.ini… interesting. I never really thought about font makers placing adjustments here!
Yeah, thats a good point. I took a look at the config and smoothsw files for the other fonts and there just seemed to be too many variables to start guessing. Trial and error method may be the way to go. Thanks!
Have you tried asking Greyscale directly ?

No, I haven’t. Someone has reached out and provided me with the important variables in those files though, so it is all good.
Please PM me about this. The site shouldn’t have any issues, and if it does, I’d like to fix it.
Just to be clear, I do not believe the issue was with the site, but rather with my computer which has a multitude of issues that may be the underlying cause.
